Short CV
Dr. Panayiotis (Panos) Kotzanikolaou is an Associate Professor in Network Security and Privacy at the University of Piraeus, Department of Informatics and he is currently the Director of SecLab. He has obtained a Degree in computer science (1998) from the University of Piraeus and a Ph.D in ICT security (2003). Formerly, has served as a Security Auditor at the Hellenic Authority for the Security and Privacy in Communications (ADAE), and has also worked as a security consultant in the private sector. He has participated in various national and European R&D projects. He has participated as a program committee member in international conferences and he has served as a guest editor, editorial member and reviewer for various international journals. He has published more than 70 papers in books, journals and international conferences. He is a member of the Greek Computing Society and has received various certifications in information security (CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
